Armed with 25 years of marketing, sales and management experience, Steve Roberts leads business development efforts, sales and client relationships at New Angle Media.
Roberts worked for Avnet, Inc. for 23 years prior to co-founding New Angle in 2003, most recently having served as the director of memory products business unit at Avnet’s corporate office. He was responsible for product marketing, line card and inventory. Under his direction, the memory group’s sales grew to more than $800 million with a staff of 60 over seven years. Roberts held additional management-level positions at Avnet including area sales and marketing manager in Chicago, where he led marketing efforts for 13 Midwestern states.
At New Angle, Roberts leads account management for all clients. He also identifies and develops new business opportunities. Clients include Avnet, Hearst Business Media, Microchip, REALTY EXECUTIVES International and General Dynamics.
Roberts is an active member of the community, serving on the Valley of the Sun Leadership Council for the American Diabetes Association and Master Plan/Exhibits Committee of the Desert Botanical Garden. He is also a past board member of the American Marketing Association.
