After concluding his college career, he played for a year in the European League (Cardiff Tigers 1987) before enlisting with the proud U.S. Army Rangers. About Brad Ross
Brad Ross enters his sophomore season with STN this year. Ross is a devout college football fan who has attended home and away games with his beloved alma mater, Arizona State University for more than two decades. Growing up in California, Brad got hooked on NCAA action by avidly supporting Coach John McKay's powerful USC Trojans, and following the aerial action of Air Coryell at San Diego State. A starting Tulare Union wide receiver in high school in Tulare, CA, Ross witnessed the bigger, stronger, faster athletes of the PAC 10, and quickly decided to save life and limb and aspire to a safer and saner option - journalism. Ross worked in public relations for the NBA Phoenix Suns in 1981-1982, and after attaining his journalism degree from ASU, worked in sales and promotions for the San Diego Padres from 1983-1985. He returned to ASU and received a Bachelor's degree in secondary education (History), and later earned a Master's degree from Northern Arizona University. Since 1987, he has served as a high school history teacher and coach in Mesa Public Schools. He is married to Dawn and has two daughters - 4 year old Hannah and her baby sister Reagan.
