New Angle Media delivers eLearning program to SRP

Salt River Project (SRP) is the third-largest public power utility in the United States, delivering electricity and water to metropolitan Phoenix for more than 100 years.

In its continuing commitment to the community, SRP Community Outreach developed a new educational program to supplement school curricula in Arizona. The “Powering Our Future” course covered energy use, renewable energy and energy conservation. Focusing on renewable energy for the grade range 4-6, SRP needed to adapt the course material to make it accessible to younger students.

eJourney will expose countless young children to renewable energy in Arizona schools and at the Arizona Science Center. This reinforces SRP’s goal to help students understand the delicate balance between providing electricity and protecting the environment and to prepare them to develop tomorrow’s renewable energy solutions.

eJourney provides another example of SRP’s commitment to the community, demonstrated to parents, educators and the Arizona Science Center’s 400,000 annual visitors.
